Block Harbor Named “Automotive Cybersecurity Company of the Year” in 2024 AutoTech Breakthrough Awards

We are excited to announce that Block Harbor has been recognized as the “Automotive Cybersecurity Company of the Year” in the 2024 AutoTech Breakthrough Awards, a program dedicated to spotlighting top innovators in the automotive and transportation technology industries.

Our flagship platform, the Vehicle Security Engineering Cloud (VSEC), played a key role in this achievement. VSEC provides a centralized, web-based system for automakers, suppliers, and auditors to manage vehicle cybersecurity throughout the entire product lifecycle. With features for risk and vulnerability management, compliance tracking, and asset monitoring across all levels of vehicle architecture, VSEC enables secure collaboration and consistent compliance from concept to end-of-life support.

Built on more than a decade of automotive cybersecurity experience, VSEC integrates tools for streamlined asset and risk management, alongside modules like VSEC Garage offering remote access to physical systems for testing and diagnosis, and VSEC Test for automated cybersecurity testing across CAN, OBD II, Bluetooth, and network interfaces. Our recent Automotive Capture the Flag (CTF) competition also reflects our commitment to develop and support cybersecurity talent in the industry. With a $100,000 prize pool, the CTF encouraged skill-building and offers hands-on learning for security professionals worldwide. Finalists from 3 continents across the globe traveled to the U.S. for the final competition round, held at this year’s Auto-ISAC Summit.
