Five Dollars and a Mustang
At Block Harbor, cars aren't just transportation—they're our passion.
Our founder's journey began in childhood, saving every dollar for a Ford Mustang to compete in drift racing. That love of automotive performance and engineering eventually led to an internship at Fiat Chrysler, coinciding with the watershed moment when white-hat hackers remotely took control of a Jeep on the highway, triggering a 1.4 million vehicle recall.
Standing in the middle of that storm—seeing brilliant engineers scramble to patch vulnerabilities using disconnected tools and manual processes—revealed a critical gap between the automotive and cybersecurity worlds.
That gap became our calling.

That’s why we started Block Harbor.
We see a world where technology doesn’t become our enemy.
Modern vehicles are computers on wheels. They're connected to the internet, to each other, and to our infrastructure. They carry us, our families, and our future.
But the security tools protecting them haven't kept pace.
In a world where cars can be remotely controlled, engines can be disabled with a click, and personal data can be extracted through infotainment systems, vehicle makers are still using email, SharePoint, and Excel to manage cybersecurity.
The stakes are too high for yesterday's tools.
